Surface we see, beneath we don’t know.

You only know me on the surface.

But you don’t know what’s beneath it.

Surface we stand on, beneath we don’t know.

Surface we judge, beneath we don’t even bother.

Surface is what gives impression at first glance.

What’s beneath is what gives impression at first conversation.

Surface we touch, surface we see, surface we admire.

What about all the magic that’s beneath this surface?

The surface is just there to protect what’s beneath it, to hide it.

The surface is what we mostly worry about and care for, since what’s beneath it well, it isn’t what people see first.

Sometimes our surface makes us seem “Mean” or “Happy” or “Nice” or “Sad”

But in reality, what’s beneath the surface is “Nice”, “Sad”, “Mean” or “Happy”

But no one sees it, since what we see is the surface.

Some surfaces look too superficial or fake, but beneath it is a real person.

We decorate our surfaces, though. So we are responsible for what people think about us at first glance.

Some people let what’s beneath out on the surface, and express themselves with ease.

Others, are too shy or insecure, but we all decorate our own surfaces.

Of course there are people who show everyone what’s beneath their surface, others only when they are sure about it, others only to certain people.

But we all choose what to do with it, how to show it, how to express it, how to decorate it.

Surface we see, beneath we don’t know.

What type or surface do you have?
